Super User J Francho Posted July 4, 2011 Super User Posted July 4, 2011 Got to spend some time with a friend from London, England on Oneida the past two weekends. The lake started out on fire, and slowly began to own us. Many fish were caught. Quote
Super User J Francho Posted July 4, 2011 Author Super User Posted July 4, 2011 One more of the gang. L to R, Jim Jr, Tim, Jim Sr., Myself. Quote

Super User J Francho Posted July 12, 2011 Author Super User Posted July 12, 2011 She was spawned out, flabby belly. I'll guess at about 4. The one from my tournament post was about 3-8, for reference. Quote
Super User J Francho Posted July 12, 2011 Author Super User Posted July 12, 2011 Some more pics, from Tim's camera. Includes some fish from his "multi species bucket list rampage," LOL. Funny Story about that wake bait..... Jim Jr.: "What are throwing? You are destroying the smallies and walleye with it!" I cast my bait onto Jim's deck. He then picks it up, cuts it off, and ties it on his rod. Jim Jr.: "Thanks!" One more of the crew, including Kase. Quote
Fat-G Posted July 12, 2011 Posted July 12, 2011 That's hilarious that he cut it off. Haha I bet he ceught you off guard! Quote
Super User J Francho Posted July 12, 2011 Author Super User Posted July 12, 2011 We do stuff like that all the time. If we're not in a tournament, there's usually three or four boats, all fishing close together. Intentional line crossing, plunking my tin boat with sinkers, even snagging rods off the other guy's deck is BAU. I think because we're all so intense on tournament day, we keep it loose when fun fishing. Quote
Siebert Outdoors Posted July 12, 2011 Posted July 12, 2011 Looks like alot of fun. Nice smallie btw. Quote
Mrs. Matstone Posted July 19, 2011 Posted July 19, 2011 Great post and pics. Looks like everyone had a great time. Congrats and thanks for sharing. Quote
Fish Chris Posted July 19, 2011 Posted July 19, 2011 Fun trip, with cool bonus fish too That Largemouth is cool.... Hecka' dark ! Talk about a "black bass" ! Fish Quote
Super User J Francho Posted July 20, 2011 Author Super User Posted July 20, 2011 That fish was from Big Bay, and in super shallow water, Chris. Hence the "suntan." I wish she had recovered from the spawn a little better - more weight. Quote
The Bassinator Posted July 22, 2011 Posted July 22, 2011 I need to catch me some more smallies since you obviosly had a good time catching em! Quote
