Got to spend some time with a friend from London, England on Oneida the past two weekends. The lake started out on fire, and slowly began to own us. Many fish were caught.

She was spawned out, flabby belly. I'll guess at about 4. The one from my tournament post was about 3-8, for reference.

Some more pics, from Tim's camera. Includes some fish from his "multi species bucket list rampage," LOL.

Funny Story about that wake bait.....

Jim Jr.: "What are throwing? You are destroying the smallies and walleye with it!"

I cast my bait onto Jim's deck. He then picks it up, cuts it off, and ties it on his rod.

Jim Jr.: "Thanks!"

We do stuff like that all the time. If we're not in a tournament, there's usually three or four boats, all fishing close together. Intentional line crossing, plunking my tin boat with sinkers, even snagging rods off the other guy's deck is BAU. I think because we're all so intense on tournament day, we keep it loose when fun fishing.

That fish was from Big Bay, and in super shallow water, Chris. Hence the "suntan." :)

I wish she had recovered from the spawn a little better - more weight.
