Fat-G Posted July 2, 2011 Posted July 2, 2011 Anyone use this line? Tackletour seems to like it, and it has less stretch than a lot of other flouro lines. I ordered a spool of the 14# to put on my 50e. This will be my first go-round with flourocarbon. I'll let you guys know how it goes! I can tie a slobbery palomar with flouro right? Quote
Red Posted July 2, 2011 Posted July 2, 2011 I don't know about the line, but I tie a slobbered up palomar with Invizx with no issues so far. Quote
Super User BASSclary Posted July 2, 2011 Super User Posted July 2, 2011 I reccomned the Uni or San diego jam, or 16-20 knot. I've had mixed results with the Palomar Quote
JacobK Posted July 2, 2011 Posted July 2, 2011 just remember to wet your line before cinching the knot!!! Quote
Super User 5bass Posted July 6, 2011 Super User Posted July 6, 2011 Sunline Super Sniper in my opinion is very good fluorocarbon line. I really like it on spinning reels. There is no other fluorocarbon that can compete with it's limpness and manageability as far as I'm concerned. Quote
Bass_Fanatic Posted July 6, 2011 Posted July 6, 2011 When tieing the Palomar knot with floro make sure you do NOT double the line before threading it through the hook eye. It will create a crimp in the line and you will break off every hookset. Instead, run the line through the hook eye and then back through to keep from crimping the line. Hope that makes sense, it did in my head! Quote
