Bass9Man Posted June 30, 2011 Posted June 30, 2011 I saw these worms in stores. Has anyone used these worms at all. I mean, for 3 bucks you get 12 of them. Seems like a great deal, since Bass Tackle hurts your pocket sometimes. I mainly will fish Plastics, in all different types of them. You get a ton for your money. Plus i don't Bass fish in, extreme depths of water. If i was going on Tour, then i'll have Crankbaits Lipless Cranks stuff like that. Quote
Super User Grey Wolf Posted June 30, 2011 Super User Posted June 30, 2011 What? He sounds like another one-trick-pony. Quote
endless Posted June 30, 2011 Posted June 30, 2011 He may be using a phone to type? But far as the bait goes I never fished them but my brother loves the Havoc line. I would say just buy it for $3 and give it a shot in the colors you know works for you. From the looks of it just another finesse worm so you can try fishing it several different ways like wacky, shaky, or T-rig. Quote
Bass9Man Posted June 30, 2011 Author Posted June 30, 2011 He sounds like another one-trick-pony. I ask for a little info on a certain bait.. Now i'm a one trick pony. Why don't u explain a little!!! I don't know u and u don't know me Quote
BassResource.com Administrator Glenn Posted July 1, 2011 BassResource.com Administrator Posted July 1, 2011 We have 4 bags of them. Haven't tried 'em yet though. Just haven't fished under conditions that warrant them yet. They look good though. Quote

I don't know u and u don't know me Easy guy It's a forum where people post questions, answers, and opinions, even ones you don't agree with. Even if all you fish for the most part is plastics is that so bad? Denny Brauer has made a pretty decent living fishing a jig and almost nothing else. I just want to say welcome to the board and yes the bottom hoppers are a good bait at a good price. Quote

Bass9Man Posted July 1, 2011 Author Posted July 1, 2011 I like fishing plastics. It's easy on my pockets. Plus i catch more Bass on plastics. I'll be honest, i do fish topwater early in the morning and near sunset. Spinner baits are real good in my area. To be honest alot of pros fish plastics. But their are times, when u need to fish those crankbaits in certain depths. Quote
Incheon Basser Posted July 1, 2011 Posted July 1, 2011 They float. To be honest all the havoc baits except the grass pig float. Think it's cause they use bio salts. Anyway they float better then they power shaky worms. Quote
berkleyfan81 Posted July 2, 2011 Posted July 2, 2011 Ill give a report about them just bought some of them in both sizes will report it all the havoc baits look awesome . Trying to get out today or monday because i am off of work . Quote
BarefootBassin Posted September 20, 2018 Posted September 20, 2018 The havoc version of the bottom hopper is a great shakey-head/drop shot worm, seeing as they are fairly bouyant. The bottom hopper and the pit boss have both been very productive budget baits for me. Berkley just released powerbait versions of both. I'm hoping the powerbait bottom hopper retains the bouyancy that the havoc version has. Probably my favorite shakey-head worm for the money. Quote
