To me the amount of hype seems - pardon the pun - fishy. I see trip reports with "secret" Ragetail baits blacked out. Guess it's just me reading too much into the hype. I could see a big bait company paying people to post on forums to increase hype over a bait.

Those are the new, anatomically correct rage tails. You should see the size of the ******** on the Space Monkey!

Few things make a bass angler happier than getting free baits, especially good baits that catch bass.  

seems pretty clear to me that the hype will work for a little while but if bassers ain't catchin on what your selling the word gets out pretty quick

Molloch, I don't have a problem with your original post.  Something can be a good product and we can still talk about it too much.  That's not a knock on the product.  It's making the point that maybe some people would like to change the subject.  Unfortunately, whether it's a beloved product or a beloved politician, many do not want to hear anything negative about something they support.  But nothing is perfect in this world.  

Having said that, most of these guys are backing Rage Tail because they love the baits, although I wouldn't doubt a few are just following along with the popular opinion on the forum.  And, as others have stated, if we tire of the subject we don't have to read the thread.

Do they always work or are they magic? Of course not. But they are different and thats the name of the game in bass fishing more often than not.There are no other baits on the market that duplicate them.Almost all other baits are a knockoff of something else to a degree and the Rage baits are pretty original.

Really? I don't think he has a product out there that hasn't been produced before. His tail design on the anaconda is a little different but I think that Net Bait was around before and his baits are pretty similar. Rage Tails are good product don't get me wrong but I think they are a little over hyped.

Not only do they flap in my opinion in a better way (they seem to kick at LRLRLR pace where net baits just flap). They also stand up in the water really well where netbaits claws tend to sink to the bottom.

1. I feel the Rage line has a better action.

2.  No one from Netbait has ever sat down, had a beer with me, talked openly about their family and trusted me enough to discuss baits and concepts not yet introduced to the general public.

Big O, through his enthusiasm and trust in his product, has made me a Rage Tail fan for as long as the baits are produced.

That's about as heart-felt as you are going to get from me, ever.

Very well stated. I think a lot (most) of us who attended the Roadtrip

feel the same way. Meeting Big O and spending some time with him

over a period of several days impressed us all. This dude is "The Real Deal".

I have to disagree with this. Paca Craws are well noted for their alternate claw action and when rigged properly those claws will stand up and wave with the slightest movement. I tried the Rage Tail craw and I caught fish, but the Paca is just an all around better bait in my opinion.

I have been using the Paca Chunk exclusively, but I keep reading about the Rage Tail chunk and I am picking some up today on the way to the lake.  Going to give them a try.

I know I have not had any luck with the Rage Tail Shad, but I have had pretty good luck with the Anaconda.

I use both and the one similarity is they both catch fish. Until I used RT I used the Paca Craw exclusively. The major difference is the craws on the PAca are left on the lake bottom if you miss a strike, does not happen with the RT.

 For me, I appreciate all the talk about the Rage Tail Products. After watching the video on the Rage Tail Toad's, I bought a pack, and headed to the pits. Did VERY well on them, and they are a great bait. Nothing better than a big ole bucketmouth busting a toad on the surface

  If it wasn't for me seeing them on here, and watching the great demo on them, I probably would not have bought them. So again, I appreciate, and thank you all for you helping me add another deadly weapon to my box.

It makes no sense that the search function isn't pushed down peoples throats for popular baits as it is for lures that aren't allowed to be talked about. I.e. the Banjo Minnow, Flying lure, etc....

Well I stopped and got some RT Chunks and went to my favorite fishing hole. Fished a jig exclusively today. Started with a GMANN 3/8oz black and blue jig with a black and blue Net Bait Paca Chunk. Fished it for about an hour. Couple small bites nothing major. Switched to the RT Chunk in blue and black and HOLY COW BATMAN!!!!

So if they worked this well what would happen with some JJ's Magic. My first real keeper caught on a jig!

On the difference between the RT and the Paca, no they do not look the same side by side but I think the actions are pretty similar. And as for the Paca's not being durable, I find them to be as durable or more so than the RT while being at a lower price. Again, I'm not trying to bash the product or Big O. Just throwing out the fact that they are not holier than thou. Big O is a stand up guy and I commend him highly for taking a lot of his time to come here and answer questions about his products as well as a lot of other topics.

I don't think there are too many 'illegitimate' posts; or too many people taking advantage of the system. For the most part, i think people are just letting others know what worked for them or what didn't work for them.

All that being said, when 'senko' is brought up, the FAQ Comments shoot up pretty quick (or the mention of using the search.) Not optimal for my business; for sure.
