So I hit a rock at about 30 mph the other day and took out a couple of inches from my skeg. After pondering, I decided to go with a Skeg guard. It seems to be the best answer...I'll let you know...Hope it helps. I ordered it from Bass Pro Shops by going through the BR website. It didn't take any longer and it didn't cost any more...Hope it helps.
