Shane Procell Posted June 21, 2011 Posted June 21, 2011 I tried to order a new closeout shimano 200 e7 from one of the advertisers on here. They were sold out and could not tell me if they would be getting any more in. I found Vergona's store on ebay. They are have them in stock for $138 and ship priority mail free. I got mine today and it was as advertised, new in the box. Just wanted to share incase yall are having difficulty finding the 200e7's. There store on ebay is http://cgi.ebay.com/SHIMANO-CURADO-200E7-200-E7-BAITCASTING-FISHING-REEL-/370516224186?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item56447ce8ba Quote
Fat-G Posted June 21, 2011 Posted June 21, 2011 That's a heck of a deal on a heck of a reel. I got mine for $90 shipped BNIB. At that price, I should have bought two! Quote

Super User deep Posted June 21, 2011 Super User Posted June 21, 2011 Where did you find them for $90.00? Might convert an Abu guy. (Clean out your P.M. Box) That's funny, because I can get Pure Fishing products, including all Abu rods and reels for 50% off. (Pure Fishing is a sponsor of my university bass fishing team.) I'm still a Powell/ Shimano guy lol. Never bought an Abu rod or a reel using the sponsorship. Quote
Fat-G Posted June 22, 2011 Posted June 22, 2011 A dude on here. Can't find them for that cheap anymore. Quote
Super User Sam Posted June 22, 2011 Super User Posted June 22, 2011 A tackle shop owner told me that the last of the Curados made in Japan are on sale and the newer ones are made in Malaysia. I would hope the same quality control measures apply to the new reels as they did to the oder versions. A friend on the Forum got an E7 for $130 so there is room to bargain. Quote
WdyCrankbait Posted June 22, 2011 Posted June 22, 2011 Yeah, the local Gander Mountain here in Richmond area had them for $130. I could not resist, I have an E5, 50E, and wanted to complete the trio. LOVE the 200E7! Sam, am I the friend on the forum here, hahah! Quote
