Hi,

I am fishing a Carolina rig setup 5' senko with a mustad weedless hook. I am fishing on a lake that has a very weedy bottom any where I go. I can cast out and when I reel in weeds get hung up on my sinker or even my weedless hook. There are so many weeds on the bottom I think my worm is just laying in them and the fish don't even see it. I fished there a long time and not had any hits. I'm not sure what I should do about it. Thanks for the help.

Try a lipless crankbait and bring it along the top of the grass and as it starts to get hung rip it.

But the key is to maintain contact with the top of the grass.

if you insist on carolina rigging, try a plastic that is buoyant and floats. or you could possibly try a drop shot to keep the bait above the grass

I fish places like that all the time, and the key for me, has been a keel-weighted Craw. Just slow roll it until you feel the weeds, and then rip it a little, then keep a pace that keeps the bait just at the top of the grass.

I would throw a fluke weightless and twitch it just above the weedline.
