Yup. With the exception of my Ryobi Zauber (I just couldn't help myself) all of my spinning reels (and two of my fly reels) are Pflueger.

I'm down to two baitcasters right now, a Curado 200e7 and a US Reel "Hibdon Supercaster" and honestly can't tell you that one is any better than the other. Of the two, the Curado is more likely to wind up in the Flea Market than the Hibdon, strictly based on light-lure performance. I'm dying to try out one of the higher-end Supercasters as a possible replacement for the e7. I'm not worried about the performance, just the ergonomics.

With that said, I'd trade my e7 for a Patriarch 71LP in a heartbeat. I much prefer the Patriarch to the Curado, based solely on ergonomics and finish. Performance-wise, they're pretty equal.

I am an old Abu round baitcaster guy. They have been in my boat for many years and still have the first one I bought. Just bought my first Revo winch.

Spinning has been with the same old snap shot since the early 90's

I have an old shimano BC too. Just hated paying for them. An the latest have us lefties out in the cold with the gear choices. So have most of the others as well!

For many years, it's been a tight race between Shimano and Daiwa (both fresh and saltwater).

Then about a year ago, I dismantled a Daiwa Advantage, and since that day I gave Shimano the keys to the city

I have Pflueger, Daiwa, Shimano, Quantum and BPS and like them all. Oh! In addition to these bait casters I have all of the former in spinning reels plus a Browning and they are all just fine.

After using my Penn Conquer for a couple of months and seeing them show up almost every where I fish, I'm now a big fan.

ABU is my favorite baitcaster, although I own a couple of older Shimanos that have been excellent reels.

I don't really use spinning rigs enough to have a clear-cut favorite, and I don't spend my money on high-end spinning gear. I have solid, reliable reels from Shimano, Pfleuger, Pinnacle and Mitchell.

I chose other. All my reels are BPS. I know they are probably made by Abu or Pfluegar but it says BPS on them so thats what I'll call them. I have had very good luck with BPS reels. The PQ, what an outstanding reel for $70.

My seven spinning reels are Shimano Saros. Six 2500 series and one 1000 series. I suppose you could say they are my favorites. They are as smooth as butter and the drags are flawless. This will probably curse me, but I've never had a problem with them. I've had three BPS Johnny Morris spinning reels and gave them away. Mechanically, they were ok, but that titanium deposition finish was horrible. It blistered and started to flake off within a year. They replaced the first at no charge, but when the finish began to disintegrate on it, I gave them away.

The more expensive reels no doubt are better, but I'd rather have the savings to spend on electronics and other gear.

Used to be a big Daiwa fan. Was all i'd buy. But, as the years have worn on I've opened up to Abu Garcia and Quantum. Never used one but have heard good stuff about the Pfleugers.

I consistently hear good things about Shimano, but haven't purchased one for over 15 years.

Had a Pfleuger President...Lasted almost a whole season before it jammed up tighter than a bulls a.. never to move again and that was after one 10lb carp. No thanks...BPS for me now.

Abu Garcia is my favorite. I own 5 S'L's, 1 Black Max, and 1 C4. That said, I really love my Daiwa Viento, I use it for flippin and pitchin. Excellent for this purpose, but it also can cast a mile if need be.

I love my Lews. I fished my 5 BB1N models for over 24 years. I really like my new Lews as well. For spinning, the Shimano Soros and Symetre have been great performers. There are so many quality reels out there it's amazing.
