fishingkidPA Posted June 13, 2011 Posted June 13, 2011 I saw a video on facebook since i liked the cabelas page and they are promoting berkley's new line. it says it has no memory, no stretch, bigger lb test in smaller diameters. I wonder if this stuff is the reel deal. I probably won't be buying it anyway, its $20 for 150 yards of it,that's pricey in my book. here's a video if you guys want to see it. how many of you think you'll give it a shot? Quote
Super User BASSclary Posted June 13, 2011 Super User Posted June 13, 2011 Interesting. Im Skeptic though. I'll wait for user reviews from reliable sources. Quote
fishingkidPA Posted June 13, 2011 Author Posted June 13, 2011 yea if its good it might go on one or two of my spinning reels. Quote
BassResource.com Administrator Glenn Posted June 13, 2011 BassResource.com Administrator Posted June 13, 2011 Have a spool of it, but haven't used it yet. It's white, so it'll be interesting to see if it changes color under water. Quote
Scorcher214 Posted June 13, 2011 Posted June 13, 2011 Sounds excellent but, to expensive for my taste. Quote
Super User OkobojiEagle Posted June 13, 2011 Super User Posted June 13, 2011 When Berkley colors it hi-vis flame green I'll be trying it on my spinning rigs. oe Quote
maq88 Posted June 13, 2011 Posted June 13, 2011 Interesting. Im Skeptic though. I'll wait for user reviews from reliable sources. I concur! haha ill just watch out for different reviews of it n ask some of my fishing buddies how it held up for them, considering if they do buy it Quote
Super User Hooligan Posted June 13, 2011 Super User Posted June 13, 2011 Initial reaction to it is, and I quote, "Blech." I cast it about 5 times, then trashed it. Quote
fishingkidPA Posted June 13, 2011 Author Posted June 13, 2011 Is it only for spinning i think so, i dont think there is a big enough diameter for baitcasting gear. Quote
boystcroix Posted June 13, 2011 Posted June 13, 2011 Have a spool of it, but haven't used it yet. It's white, so it'll be interesting to see if it changes color under water. The fireline crystal was white also but I found it stained after using it awhile, dulling it somewhat Quote

Super User CWB Posted June 16, 2011 Super User Posted June 16, 2011 Definitely wait for reviews as others have said. Keep in mind North American Fishing Club is heavily sponsored by Pure Fishing. Price is the same as 150 yds of Suffix 832 and 1/2 the cost of Seaguar Tatsu. I've heard alot of good and bad about the Suffix and alot of good about the Tatsu. For me, price should be relative to performance and with this, that is still an unknown. Quote
