Super User SirSnookalot Posted June 9, 2011 Super User Posted June 9, 2011 I always thought Michigan was humid, until I moved to South Florida, then I discovered what high humidity is about. In Michigan the weather changes, hot days then cooler days, in Florida and other parts of the south it's hot and humid everyday without a break. Quote
Super User SoFlaBassAddict Posted June 9, 2011 Super User Posted June 9, 2011 There are days where it's so hot and humid down here that I'll literally sweat in the shower. Gotta love this time of the year in Florida! Don't know what the actual temp was today, but it felt like it was close to 1000..... Quote

bocabasser Posted June 9, 2011 Posted June 9, 2011 the hotter the better! 3 main reasons: 1. a lot of guys hate fishing in the summer here in florida. 2. the older folks DO NOT play golf after noon. which means 18 holes in less than 4 hours! 3. the beach is LOADED with these------> 1 Quote
Super User J Francho Posted June 9, 2011 Author Super User Posted June 9, 2011 I don't care about the heat, it's the goofballs that ask if it's hot enough for me, LOL. I tell them, no. When the breeze kicks up, I shiver and say, "Man, that wind cuts right through you!" Quote

moby bass Posted June 14, 2011 Posted June 14, 2011 I wonder if the heat wave that occurred on the 8th and 9th was caused by the solar flares that occurred at that time. The flares have since subsided and so has our temperature. Only in the mid 60's. Next year they are predicting coronal mass ejections much worse than the ones that just occurred. Could be in for some serious heat next year. Quote
