halfmoonhick52 Posted June 8, 2011 Posted June 8, 2011 Sounds like you got into some nice ones... btw, not to hijack the thread, but anyone fished Aitch recently and done anything?? I'm thinkin bout headin over there tomorrow Quote
Super User bassfisherjk Posted June 8, 2011 Super User Posted June 8, 2011 Hi Bill,Congrat's on the nice bass.I haven't fished Canoe Creek since last Friday. If I was going the 25th,I would fish lily pad clumps and grass lines.By that time they should be in post-spawn and deeper.Work the corner's of the swimming area also. The stumps and that whole end of the lake for that matter will be a mess with weeds, but check the outside edges, you never know.LOL I think you already know what I would throw,Zoom Baby Brush Hogs T-rigged,or something like that.Good Luck! fishincop640 Posted June 9, 2011 Author Posted June 9, 2011 Thanks Joe. I think Im gonna try to get there next week sometime...The fish we found at Raystown were definetely on the post spawn pattern....at least moving out. To the other guy...I fished Aitch several times past couple weeks. Moderate success....really good after dark. Black senko or black and blue jig has been my baits of choice...... Quote
TerryR Posted June 9, 2011 Posted June 9, 2011 I was at Canoe Creek Saturday and caught one straight across from the dock by the stumps on a lily pad edge. Tried fishing the stumps some, it is a mess. Weeds matting real bad. I hope they don't bluestone it right before your tourney, lol. Quote
