BIG M Posted June 4, 2011 Posted June 4, 2011 Here we have Bang-O lure style, a Jitter Stick, and last but not least the Slop Frog. All made from balsa and 100% by me. What is a Jitter Stick you ask? It's my Sammy style walking bait with a slight modification and Jitter bib. This was a shot in the dark and I nailed this crazy looking critter. It just plops and blurps all the way back to you at a slow steady pace. Quote
Steven Ladner Posted June 4, 2011 Posted June 4, 2011 Looking good Marty. Would like to know a little more on the Jitter Stick's action. Does the tail end swing out or wobble back and forth during retrieve? Also, what's the length on that one, about 4"? Looks like a good night fishing topwater. Quote
whittler1 Posted June 4, 2011 Posted June 4, 2011 Man those look great Marty, that jitter stick should be killer. The thing I like most is the 100% made by me, all we see anymore is some $1.50 Chinese bait with a paint job being palmed off as a handmade bait or as the original. There are still a few out there who apprecieate a true handmade bait. Quote
lip ripson Posted June 4, 2011 Posted June 4, 2011 I agree with whittler, make and paint the lures. That frog is a little nasty thing, just the right time to make it, and now all we need is the picture of that walking on water and getting blasted. Any way to make one weedless ya think? All the rest of the baits look very nice as well. Quote
bosshogg Posted June 5, 2011 Posted June 5, 2011 Marty, All of those baits are right-on. Great tail-spinners,that would make Jim Bagley proud. I knew him and visited his factory many times. Those other baits are really interesting, new versions of top water baits that need to get wet. Great job, as always Marty!!!!!! Quote
