NJBassDevil3254 Posted February 7, 2007 Posted February 7, 2007 I like taking pics when I'm done organizing my tackle. Its kinda a reference to see how far I have progressed in my collection and the guys on the other forums like to see it. So I thought I'd throw this thread out there and ask ya'll to post pics of your tackle, tackle boxes, tackle bags, or even your tackle room! Just something to get us amped up for the upcoming season:) I got some more tackle like a spinnerbait box and another crankbait box and a couple others. Clay Quote
jlcjrbal Posted February 7, 2007 Posted February 7, 2007 YOu know I just pulled my bag out to ge it ready for early spring. I actually have the Bass Pro Bag and it has held up pretty well but all the pull came of so I am just left with the zippers. I like the way you kept the hoks and weight seperate gave me a great idea for a smaller box just wasting space. I fish off land but I am gearing up to get ot on the local waters this year with my daughter who has been reading up on alot of fishing this off season. Enjoy... Joseph Quote
BassinSoldier Posted February 7, 2007 Posted February 7, 2007 HEY! You dropped a beaver in your tube tray!!! ;D Quote
The_Natural Posted February 7, 2007 Posted February 7, 2007 I'm not going to open up all my boxes, but here is my stuff. The first pic is of my two bags and the other 3700's I have in rotation. I just select boxes condusive to the trip I will be going on, and I usually just take one bag. My closet contains my back. The boxes are 3741's, which are 4" deep 3700's with no dividers. You can kindof see inside the first row of boxes. You can squeeze about 40 bags of plastics in each one. Here are my Loomis rods (and two Avid Spinning rods) Here are my three Steez rods that are new this year... Here are my reels... My Alphas after Ize' lightweight spools w/ tuned rotors and Ceramic bearings... Quote

JigginIt Posted February 7, 2007 Posted February 7, 2007 Clay I am really suprised no one has bought you a label maker as a gift yet. Quote
RI_Bass_Guy Posted February 7, 2007 Posted February 7, 2007 The Naturals pictures looks like my basement.....seperated in plastics boxes so its easier to set up the boat trip by trip. Quote
Super User Raul Posted February 7, 2007 Super User Posted February 7, 2007 Natural keeps his stuff neatly organized, has a bigger closets than me ...... how can I convince my wife we need to tear down part of the house to build a fishing tackle room ? :-/ Quote
Siebert Outdoors Posted February 7, 2007 Posted February 7, 2007 Natural and Raul, thats it. I am disappointed Raul, can I have that bin with the rapalas in it? Its taking up to much space in your vet building. Quote
The_Natural Posted February 7, 2007 Posted February 7, 2007 I love to organize...I have a knack for it. I could post some more pictures later of how I organize my hooks, weights, and such. The plastics backstock in my closet isn't thousands of different baits, yet 10-30bags of baits and colors I use frequently, and stocked up when I caught them on sale. The colored things on my foregrips are custom foregrip covers I make from special order, extra large diameter heat shrink tubing. It seals the cork and keeps it chalky new. Quote
Daniel My Brother Posted February 7, 2007 Posted February 7, 2007 Raul and Natural, Thank you, thank you, thank you. Now, when my wife says I spend too much on fishing, I'll just point her to this post. You've done a service to all of us. Well done! Quote
Shadcranker Posted February 7, 2007 Posted February 7, 2007 Thank you Natural! I thought I had a problem, but dude, you take the cake! Very impressive collection. I would strongly suggest you schedule (list in categories by numer of each type) all of that tackle on your homeowners insurance. if you ever have a bunch stolen, they'll never believe it. I'm sure as organized as you are, you probably have it all on a spreadsheet. if the day job goes bad, you could open a bait shop. Quote
Super User Grey Wolf Posted February 7, 2007 Super User Posted February 7, 2007 Hey Natural , YOU DA MAN !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Quote

I'm sure as organized as you are, you probably have it all on a spreadsheet. if the day job goes bad, you could open a bait shop. I just made a master list of all my backstock. It was actually easy, because I only have 3-5 different baits in each box, but 10-20 bags of each. The 3741's are the best way I have found to store your backstock plastics. It is very easy to see your bags, and you can flip through them like an index file, and I just pull out a bag or two that I need to refill. If I am fishing a tournament and am getting bit on a certain senko color, I will carry an extra couple of bags with me. Here is what they look like inside... Quote

Now, when my wife says I spend too much on fishing, I'll just point her to this post. You've done a service to all of us. Well done! Daniel tell your "significant other" that those boxes contain only SPARE tackle, which is only a part of what I have in use. I know that I do need to put some order so I can find stuff more easily and to have an inventory, just discovered I have 3 Storm Wiggle Warts in Fluorescent silver orange plus another one in the stuff I carry with me :. Super User Munkin Posted February 7, 2007 Super User Posted February 7, 2007 Now I do not feel as bad about being a tackle buyer! Let me see if I can find the digital camera? Allen Quote
Super User Munkin Posted February 7, 2007 Super User Posted February 7, 2007 And now for the disorganized! ;D I guess I do not have as much free time as some of you? Maybe the Natural can stop by my house and organize my tackle for me? Allen Quote
WBFishing Posted February 7, 2007 Posted February 7, 2007 Somebody mentioned it earlier. I work in insurance. If you have not done it. You guys better schedule this stuff on your homeowners policies or get stand alone personal prperty floaters for your tackle and other gear. If it gets stolen or God forbiden your house burns down, the claims people are never gonna believe you. Your personal property coverage is based on a percentage of the primary dwelling coverage for your home, that percentage (unless you are carrying 1 Mill) is never going to be enough to replace all of that stuff. My wife is gonna so kiss me, when she sees these collections of tackle and gear. I felt bad about hiding stuff until I saw your collections. I feel so inadequate when I look at these pictures.
