Jj's Chartruese...?

will JJ's chartruese dye dark colors?

like green pumpkin, watermelon...or even black?

i've got the clear JJ's and really like it..

i picked up some Spike-It chartruese only because it was on sale at Dick's and am not impressed. i guess it does fine on white but not much else... and who uses white plastics much??

just wondering if JJ's works on the colors most used.... i would like to tip some of my trailers in chartruese....

Yes, it works on dark colors. It works even better if you do a primer coat of clear, then the chartreuse.

Thats generally what I'll do with my plastics when I'm using JJ's. Just make sure you don't accidentally dip the chartreuse first and then the clear.....

I dipped the tail of some black worms in chart JJs and it turned it dark green. Maybe I did it wrong or I should have done the clear first as other guys have suggested.

Dipping a black, green or any other color worm in JJ's magic will not remove the original color of the worm and replace it with the color of JJ's. The original color of the worm will always effect the final color of the dipped worm. There is a guy in Louisiana who will make some worms with a white tipped tail so you can get a perfect color if you want. The final color of the dipped worm will look light untill you put it in the water. That's when it will glow the brightest.
