I don't care if he scores 75 points, when you have 2 points in the 4th with your star teammate hurting, and the game on the line, your a choker. (not you OHIO, Lebron).

Yeah, I agree with you. His fourth quarter stats suck this series and I'm pretty happy about that.

Although things look troubling for Miami and great for Dallas, I am sticking to my original prediction of Miami in 7.

I think the Heat will play with more energy and enthusiasm at home. LeBron should play better. The refs will provide some home cooking. It is playing out as I had expected.

Regardless of who wins the championship, both teams are deserving.

I never thought I would watch or care about this series, but it has been great! Plus I love watching the Heat lose, so far. Go Mavs!

You and me both. As soon as the Celtics lost, I didn't really care anymore.

I do enjoy watching the Heat lose, but if they win, at least the Celtics lost to a championship team.

So I just read that Lebron has 11 points total in the 4th quarter of the finals. Wow. In the words of the Legend, "your playing like a girl out there". (changed a little bit to fit)

I'm just curious, did LeBron steal your pot pie, take a leak in your Cheerios, or something?

:D

I am sticking with my original prediction in of the HEAT in 7, regardless of whether or not Lebron shows up, it can be done with Bosh and Wade. All bets are off though if Wade is injured or out.

Rumor on the street from is that his head isn't in the right place because his significant other, Savannah Brinson, is sleeping around with another NBA player, Rashard Lewis. Not to defend the James, because I think he is a bit of a spotlight hog, but at 26 years old, the turmoil a woman can cause a man can play some mental games with his ability to focus especially a guy with a huge, but sensitive EGO. If the rumors are true I would say this to Lebron.

"There was a cat that was crossing the railroad tracks and just as he was about to finish crossing a train zoomed by and cut the very tip of his tail off, The cat quickly turned around to see what happened, but in doing so he lost his head!"

The moral of the story being, don't lose your head over a little piece of tail! Too bad its easier said then done.

GO HEAT!

I don't understand! Let's just leave Dirk all alone at the 3 point line. Come on, guys!

Congrats to the Mav's and their classy fans.

Humble pie never tastes very good.

The Heat fell short, but they will be back!

Got home a little while ago. Good game. Great series. Congrats to the Mavs. Congrats to Mark Cuban for amazingly keeping his mouth shut for so long.

Now Pat Riley gets to work on his master plan some more. This was the worst Heat team there will be for the next few years. They had no business getting this far with the roster they had. There were moments during the game when I thought I was looking at a pickup game at a Miami retirement home. I've said it once, and I'll always say it. Lets go Heat! There will still be a new banner going up in the AAA. There is still a new trophy getting put into the case. Not one reason at all to complain.

I wish the Heat could have made it into a game 7, but its called basketball not passing-ball! Congrats to the Dallas Mavericks for a well fought series, I am always glad to see guys that never won a ring go out with one before retiring and the Mavs had plenty of'em.

Mark Cuban punking Heat fans on Sportscenter shows his arrogance once again. Cleveland fans can now bury the hatchet since you saw Lebron fail miserably, by only making it to the Finals. I am looking forward to next year with a healthy Miller and Haslem. I would like to see Bibby gone and the acquisition of a top point guard and respectable center. Remember most critics were picking the Heat to lose to the Celtics and Boston going into the playoffs and did not expect the Mavs to make it past the Spurs in the first round, so all-in-all both teams overachieved.

Well I did predict Mavs in 6.

Great series, in the end it was a whole team against the big three.

The Media is going to trash the Heat enough in the coming days so I'm going to keep my mouth shut.

BUT WE ARE THE CHAMPIONS!!!

I don't hate anyone, even Lebron, just stating the facts. He is the most talented player in the NBA, but has no heart. So sad for Wade to put it all out there and play with someone who doesn't really care.

Lebron has no right what so ever to be mention as the best player in the league.

He has the talent but no heart. Even after the game he only talked about the work he put in.

If anything he should have said what Bosh said about taking something from Dallas and working as a TEAM.

Although, I believe James underachieved as an individual, I believe they functioned as a TEAM throughout the season, the problem is the rest of the TEAM was not as strong as it should have been, especially with UD and Miller missing most of the season with injury. If you looked at all the PASSING and ball movement throughout the series there is no question they functioned as a TEAM, the second best TEAM in the NBA.

Hmmmm.

Why did Miami pass so much - Because no one on the team wanted to take the shot. That is called throwing the ball around.

People were injured - Lets see Butler out for the whole year and the playoffs, Haywood out the last three games, Dirk had 101.1 fever. And we still won.

Face it your "TEAM" consist of Lebron, Wade, and Bosh shut one of them down and you loose.

You have the big ThrEE but there is no double EE in "TEAM"

Who should be named best player in the league if not Lebron?

The Heat is just going to get better next season. They will add a quality center and maybe change point guard. The Mavericks just played better as a team and their coach adjusted better in the series. They deserved to win and they did. Enjoy your trophy..it was your time.

First of all I wish I owned the team, its not my team, its Micky Arison's team. Second, the Heat did play as a TEAM and made it all the way to the Finals, but did not play well enough especially in the 4th quarter to beat Mark Cuban's team. I referred to the passing in my previous post to infer that NONE of the BIG THREE are ball hogs although I wish one would have been especially in the 4th QT. How many times have you seen TEAMS live or die, by their superstar, where was the rest of the TEAM then? Your assertion that if you shut one of the big three down is incorrect, look back of how ineffective at least one or two of them are during the playoffs, but the Heat still played well and won. Its not a matter of shutting one of the Big Three down, its a matter of beating a TEAM and that consist of the Miami bench, other starters (Bibby, Miller, Chalmers, etc), and coach, which is relatively weak compared to all but the 76ers throughout the playoffs. Nevertheless, it is a team sport and the Miami Heat lost as a team to Dallas, not as a collection of individuals as you asserted. Barring major injury next year of a star player and a revamping of the Miami bench especially point guard and center, Miami may have the best collection of individual talent on a team and if they play well as a team it could be argued that they should be front runners for the Finals next year, Dallas is going to lose many of its key players due to free agency and they will be less likely to be contenders. So as a fan of Miami I am happy that they made it to the finals, during the season I really believed that the Celtics or the Bulls would have beaten them in the playoffs, but they made it to the finals in their first year with the "Experiment" more than many fans could have wished for. Again, congrats to the Dallas Mavericks organization for their 1st Championship, as a Miami fan I am looking forward to more Championships in the following years with the BIG THREE and the rest of the TEAM!

We'll see I still didn't see much of a TEAM in Miami.

With all the money the Mavs have freed up in free agency they might just go out and sign CP3 or Superman.

Miami on the other hand is going to have a hard time finding some bench players via free agency.

We shall see what we shall see.

The day after "The Decision" LeBron, Wade, and Bosh had a celebration in Miami where LBJ famously said they would win "Not 2, not 3, not 4, not 5, not 6, not 7..." championships. The self-proclaimed King predicted 8 championships, and the crowd went crazy.

They had won exactly zero games at this point.

I don't see how anybody outside of the state of Florida can stand rooting for this team.

Thank you Dallas!

I actually liked Lebron before he went to Miami. None of the big "3" play right with each other. The only reason they made it to the finals is because we are talking about Dwayne Wade and Lebron James on the SAME team...but, Dallas showed the whole world how teamwork can win games...not just passing the ball because you are scared to shoot. I have never seen Lebron pass the ball when wide open behind the 3-point line like he did this season with Miami.
