bass wrangler569 Posted June 8, 2009 Posted June 8, 2009 Bass Pro's new Z9R swimbait looks pretty good. I'm never much of a BPS lure fan but I gotta admit this thing doesn't look to bad. Definitely not the best out there but for the price it doesn't look to shabby. http://www.basspro.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/Product_10151_-1_10001_10202507_100018000_100000000_100018000_100-18-0 Quote

bass wrangler569 Posted June 8, 2009 Author Posted June 8, 2009 That is the dumbest looking bait I've seen. Yeah it does sorta remind me of one of those fish that live 10 miles under water and have little lights to attract prey, the kinda stuff that you see on a discovery channel LOL. Still though, I don't think it looks terrible and it would probably work. Quote
aarogb Posted June 8, 2009 Posted June 8, 2009 That is the dumbest looking bait I've seen. I think I will stick to my BBZ-1 Shads and my Sebile Magic Swimmers. Quote

tyrius. Posted June 8, 2009 Posted June 8, 2009 That is the dumbest looking bait I've seen. Looks like the same concept as the Live Pointer. Quote

Tyrius beat me to this as usual. http://www.***.com/descpageHDRLUCKY-LCLPM.html Would anyone be bashing it if it was a LuckyCraft? If anyone has one of these post an honest review. Quote

Nope you could put the name LuckyCraft on a hot dog and sell it and nope you cant bash it either Quote
bigtimfish Posted June 8, 2009 Posted June 8, 2009 How about lucky crap. could that sell and be unbashable? ;D Quote
Mattlures Posted June 8, 2009 Posted June 8, 2009 Actualy Lucky craft swimbaits are some of the worst swimbaits out there. Do a little reserarch and read their reveiws. I am not even saying to consider my opinion. Just read up on them and you will see that the LC swimbaits have all been flops. I belive the california supreme by LC got the worst review I have ever seen on tackle tour. Quote

Whatever, the end of it after a few fish, the wire or whatever it is that gives them action and holds them together messes up and it doesnt swim true. That seems kinda lame for a $15-$20 jerkbait. Super User J Francho Posted June 8, 2009 Super User Posted June 8, 2009 Never used the LC swimbaits, but the Live LVR, Pointer, and Sammy are duds. The segmenting actually seems to inhibit bait movement. Suffice it to say, I think its not the number of segments, but the connection, and the shape that influences the movement. Quote
DINK WHISPERER Posted June 8, 2009 Posted June 8, 2009 That is the dumbest looking bait I've seen. My thoughts exactly!!!!!!!!!! Quote
Super User Hammer 4 Posted June 8, 2009 Super User Posted June 8, 2009 I've used Castic, Spro BBZ, and both swim pretty good, just got my Mattlures hard bg...will take that out Thurs. I agree, those baits don't look to be all that. Quote
Super User fourbizz Posted June 8, 2009 Super User Posted June 8, 2009 I think I just threw up a little. Quote
Super User Dan: Posted June 8, 2009 Super User Posted June 8, 2009 Those point schemes look awful. Quote
Mottfia Posted June 9, 2009 Posted June 9, 2009 Shave those tops fin looking things off and I might give it a try. BUT since it is BPS I'm not going to put too much stock into it lasting too long or working all to well. If it does then I will happily take my words back Can anyone give a review on it? EastTexasBassin Posted June 9, 2009 Posted June 9, 2009 I think it has potential...This is from the same people that brought us the best frog lure ever invented. http://www.basspro.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/Product_10151_-1_10001_98850_100005003_100000000_100005000_100-5-3 Quote
Super User fourbizz Posted June 9, 2009 Super User Posted June 9, 2009 "Field tested on Lake El Salto" LMFAO Well, I guess if it can catch fish at a low pressure, third world lake that pumps out bass like a Twinkie factory, it must be awesome. Quote
mattm Posted June 9, 2009 Posted June 9, 2009 Bizz, The only reason i've been checking this thread is to see what you had to say. Had a feeling you were going to kill this one. Quote
