BassmanfromNC Posted June 5, 2009 Posted June 5, 2009 I was at the fishing tackle shop today and boy is there a huge seletion of crankbaits to choose from. I'm somewhat new to crankin and a little bewildered on what brand and type to use. I fish mostly cloudy ponds that is not real deep. Fish in alot of 4-5 feet h20. Suggestions? Quote
SDoolittle Posted June 5, 2009 Posted June 5, 2009 I like the 1/4 oz Rat-L-Traps and Bandit 100 series for pond hoppin'. Quote

fisher1973 Posted June 5, 2009 Posted June 5, 2009 the ''wally marsall'' crappie crankbaits work great in skinny water for puddle jumping. They tend to run around 3 1/2' deep on trilene 10# xl. good luck! Quote
