Im planning on buying a new pack of plastic worm and was wondering...Whats your favourite color to use for plastic worms?

Also which brand of plastic worm is your favorite?

Many brands have different color names but they are generally the same color so just choose the option most similar to your favorite color.

PS. I've enable multiple answers but try not to choose more than 3 different colors!!

pps. Why is "color" banned from the search function of bass resource??

In truth, I have no favorite worm color because the best hue for conditions is a moving target.

When fishing in deep water &/or dingy water, I prefer a dark color.

But in shallow water &/or clear water I'll lean to the lighter colors.

In order of preference:

1. Purple. specifically Tequila sunrise.

2. Black. My best producer in dingy water or at night.

3. Junebug. It sometimes works when the other two aren't getting bit.

Others that I use occasionally are red w/ blue glitter (I don't know the official name), green pumpkin and motor oil.

How can you leave off ZOOM's Red Bug? :D

If not Red Bug, then Junebug

Yet you listed diarrhea brown. I'll have to look for that color when I'm at Cabela's next week.

I have a 100 pack of the berkley power worms 7" in motor oil. I loooooove motor oil! And so do the fish!

Thats because 99% of the world know what diarrhea brown looks like. These are just names for your information. Diarrhea brown goes under motor oil, green pumpkin, big texan.

Just havin' a little fun. I know what you mean. Diarrhea brown is motor oil and Tequila Sunrise is purple.

I don't know. That's really weird.

Looking into it now...

"Dark" works for me, even in clear water. I like the "baby bass" color too. And Gary Yamamoto all the way.

Black with blue flake is my favorite. 7 inch berkley powerworm or senko.
