Bass_Fanatic Posted May 26, 2011 Posted May 26, 2011 Last month I broke my Powell max 704C rod when a battery fell on it. I was upset to say the least because this was my favorite rod at the time. I called Powell and told them what happened and they said ship it to them and send them the $40 fee and they would replace it. I thought $40 for a $150 rod was a pretty good deal so I shipped it off. Today I got my replacement rod back. I opened it to find a Powell Endurance 714C. I not only got a new rod but I got an upgraded rod! I was very pleased with the Max series, now I cant wait to use the Endurance! If your thinking about a new rod, Powell has got to be on your list. Quote
Mainebassin Posted May 26, 2011 Posted May 26, 2011 So nice these days to see a company that stands behind there product and really take care of there customers...I had a simliar exp with St.Croix last year withone of my Avids....They treated me like i was there only customer....And in turn they earned a customer for life.....
