I got a couple of spinnerbaits that have just silver lead head and was wondering what I would use to color them. Also, should I just make all of em white or should i color them based on the skirt?

If you only have 2 and you're not too picky just paint them with model paint like Testors, or you can use nail polish and that will seal them in good. Color is a personal choice. I like to match mine with the skirt. If you have powder paint or an airbrush you can use that as well.

I've got some decon 2-ton epoxy, could I use that to seal them as well? Also, there are 5 that i need to do but i think painting them will be fine

Like Cadman said. Also you could use vinyl paint. A couple of coats over a white base and your good to go. I also like to match the heads to the skirt, but I've caught tons of fish on an all white spinnerbait as well.

I kinda go against the grain as far as head color goes. I don't care if it has any or not. I used to paint mine (airbrush) and then seal with 2 - ton. For the last 4 years i leave them raw with no different results. Same with jigheads. I won't paint again unless i'm bored some winter....

Nail polish from the dollar store works great and is durable.

When I bought my hair dryer, it was so funny watching the sales girl trying not to laugh, especially when I stroked my bald head. You can buy anything with a sense of humor. Make their day by making them smile.

Ahh, paint your toe nails before you go in. That'll take the curse off of it...LOL

To be honest with you, I do use nail polish on spinnerbait heads if I'm only making up a few, but before I go to the store, I make sure I have a list of things to buy. That way when they start scanning things in, the nail polish get kind of lost in the mix. Oh and a line of peeps behind you always helps. They don't care what's being scanned at that point.
