airborne_angler Posted May 25, 2011 Posted May 25, 2011 I have at least 10 of the smallest Hula Poppers that Arbogast makes. The skirts are all unravelling and coming apart.I have no idea of where to find the small replacement skirts...anyone know of a source? Quote
Super User grimlin Posted May 25, 2011 Super User Posted May 25, 2011 (edited) Try H&H website and look under skirt. You might have to modify a little bit(Cut length and glue on),but they look like a really good fit.I'm going to have to pull out my hula popper and an H&H lure and see if that skirt would work on it. I checked it and it looks like a perfect fit.Wouldn't be surprised if they are the same skirt company. Edited May 25, 2011 by grimlin Quote
dulouz Posted May 25, 2011 Posted May 25, 2011 Someone gave me one of those and it had no skirt so I took a spinnerbait skirt and glued it on and it works great. Quote
1nstinct Posted May 25, 2011 Posted May 25, 2011 i agree with dulouz a spinner bait skirt works a lot better than the hula popper skirt and it pans out a lot better in the water Quote
Super User A-Jay Posted May 25, 2011 Super User Posted May 25, 2011 Every consider a small feathered treble as a replacement ? A-Jay http://www.***.com/Treble_Hooks/catpage-TTTH.html Quote
Super User CWB Posted May 26, 2011 Super User Posted May 26, 2011 Probably can still find older rubber skirts on E-Bay. I would try to adapt a silicone skirt somehow. Trim it if it's too big. Quote
RAMBLER Posted May 26, 2011 Posted May 26, 2011 Go to www.barlowstackle.com and get the materials and make you own. Quote
tholmes Posted May 26, 2011 Posted May 26, 2011 Go to www.barlowstackle.com and get the materials and make you own. Barlow's also has some small (2-1/2", IIRC) skirts that could work. Maybe a little trimming required? Tom Quote
