This question springs from my last one about vanish transition. What is your favorite flurocarbon line? Ideally one used for fishing weightless plastics such as senkos or flukes around visible cover (wood, grass, rock). I loved how well I could see vanish trans. but I'd say It's been established that line simply is junk. I'm trying to decide on a new line that will pick up those light, never felt him bights that is typicall of weightless plastics that will hold up hookset after hookset. I retie a lot so I don't necessarily need the bulkiest, most abrassion resistant line. Just very sensitive and "hookset tough"

You did get suggestions on what lines to change over to in your last thread about the vanish.

Seaguar is probably the most popular fluoro line, and seaguar Tatsu is arguably the best (but expensive)

In any case, I'd recommend "Trilene 100% Fluorocarbon".

I would say go with braid, in the long run it will save you a lot of money.

A happy medium between InvizX and AbrazX is Sufix Fluoro.

I use BPS's XPS flouro and have been very pleased with it. KVD uses it also.

Hmm...

I have been testing a few for the past year or so...

Winners:

Tatsu hands down, but the price is outrageous!

Okay, specific suggestions:

Seaguar #12 AbrazX for baitcasters

Seaguar #8 InvizX for spinning tackle.

Improve performance by at leasst 100% with KVD Line & Lure Conditioner.

I use P-Line flourocarbon and don't have any problems with it. just wondering how the trilene 100% flourocarbon might compare to it. I think it's about the same price. thanks.

No problems with line twist with SeaGuar InvisX? I have been wanting to switch to flouro on my spinning. Been using braid 50# with 17# flouro leader for heavy cover and 8-10 # mono for everything else

I want to try the P-Line Halo, it sounds pretty good.

Also on the list is P-Line Flouro and AbrazX.

BPS XPS is a fantastic fluorocarbon line, especially for the price. I also really like AbrazX. I use both in several different pound tests.

I personally really like the P-Line Halo, have gone through a few spools now and it is very consistent.

Seaguar is the best. I use 10lb invisx for everything except dropshot. For dropshot I use 8lb Tatsu. Tatsu is by far the best but at 40$ a spool its fairly pricey.

Tatsu, I didn't believe there could be that much difference between it and all the other floro I've tried, but I was wrong. It's just that much better than everything else.

Seaguar for me. I have had no problem with line twist out of either the invizx or the abrazx. I tried different P-line's first and had nothing but problems with them. Not a fan of BPS products because of lack of consitancy I have experienced from them. Sometimes you get good stuff and other times its been junk out of the same product line. I had a problem with a Berkley product a few years ago and contacted them about it and the complete lack of customer service turned me off of their products. Anyone you use I would recomend the KVD line and lure conditioner to be used with it. Good luck with finding what works for you.
