bigfish88 Posted June 3, 2009 Posted June 3, 2009 i love there senkos and other baits and feel like i get more fish with them but the literally last 1 fish or thirty casts whatever comes first (hopefully 1 fish) then there absolutely toast. what plastics do yall prefer? thanks Quote
Vinny Chase Posted June 3, 2009 Posted June 3, 2009 How expensive are they? i buy the Yamayoto (or w/e) ones and they set me back Quote
BassnMan Mike Posted June 3, 2009 Posted June 3, 2009 Kinami Flash are Yamamotos, Derek Yamamoto, Garys son sells them. They run the same price as the Senkos Try wacky rigging them with rubber O rings, they will last longer. Quote
soccplayer07 Posted June 4, 2009 Posted June 4, 2009 You can find them on sale too. I just bought some tonight at Dick's Sports. They were 2 for 10 and I had a 10 off 50 coupon. I bought 20 or so packs a few months ago from Boaters World when they were going out of business for less than 3 a pack. Shop around. Quote
Super User Wayne P. Posted June 4, 2009 Super User Posted June 4, 2009 Get some Mend-It soft bait glue and you can repair the torn Senkos Quote
S I G M A Posted June 4, 2009 Posted June 4, 2009 Kinami's are actually a little more expensive than GYs Quote
Use ONLY Stren Posted June 4, 2009 Posted June 4, 2009 If your looking for just senko style baits the Yum Dinger is pretty good and almost half the price of senkos. Quote
JaxBasser Posted June 4, 2009 Posted June 4, 2009 I bought a pack of Strike King Shim-E-Sticks for $3. They are really durable and they sink really slow with a nice action. Caught 2 bass over 5 lbs the first time I used them. Quote
TommyBass Posted June 4, 2009 Posted June 4, 2009 Yum Dingers... Tiki Worm Sticks... and about every other off brand senko copycat have worked well for me. I have never noticed a sizeable difference in their fish catching ability. I have noticed one thing... senkos tear much easier.. period. For fun fishing I see no reason what so ever for senkos. If you really truely believe that senkos are "IT" and are that much better then maybe save those for tourneys only or something. Quote
FishDontLikeMe1301600221 Posted June 4, 2009 Posted June 4, 2009 a bic lighter and melt it back, makes um good for a few more. Quote
Super User CWB Posted June 4, 2009 Super User Posted June 4, 2009 They are exactly the same as GYCB baits but packed less to a bag to make you think you are getting a better deal. They work just as good also. Quote
Super User burleytog Posted June 5, 2009 Super User Posted June 5, 2009 Stop wasting money on GYCB and Kinami. Buy the trick sticks from ***. By the way Brent, I'm still waiting on the *. Yamamoto baits aren't a waste of money. Quote
