I'm thinking about the Berkley AMP rod for my next purchase. Where do they sell them? I don't want to order it and have it shipped, unless the price is better than what I can pick up locally and the selection is good. I see where K-Mart has them online.....

My local Dick's Sporting Goods has them in stock.

I may have to swing by Dick's sometime. I'm an hour and a half from Macon.

Yea Dicks for sure, maybe even Sports Authority.

Dick's has them.

My buddy bought one. It was fairly light and sensitive for such a cheap rod, but it snapped in half within about 2 weeks. Could have just been one bad one though.

Wow! I've read some reviews elswhere that they break easily.

I had 2 of them purchased offline before they were in the stores locally in my area. They were pretty good rods and used one of them as a crank rod for half a season before selling it due to my hookup ratio going down. Now that might not have been the rods fault at all. I had spinning models also and that action for crankbaits is very good. Never had it snap and sold it through the flea market here.
