soccplayer07 Posted June 3, 2009 Posted June 3, 2009 Hello all. I am looking for a hard body shad style swim bait. Everything I own is the soft variety. Recommendations? Quote
soccplayer07 Posted June 3, 2009 Author Posted June 3, 2009 I have a few of his baits but did not notice any hard shad style. What is the name of the one your mentioning? Thanks. Quote

Super User SPEEDBEAD. Posted June 3, 2009 Super User Posted June 3, 2009 How big a bait do you want to throw? They can be as small as the Tru Tungsten all the way up to a few ounces. Quote
soccplayer07 Posted June 3, 2009 Author Posted June 3, 2009 Raul, Any thoughts on the baits you listed??? Speedbead, 6 inches and under/1.5 ounces and under. Quote
Super User SPEEDBEAD. Posted June 3, 2009 Super User Posted June 3, 2009 I have a couple of the SPRO baits and they look awesome in the water. The slightest movement of the line will cause them to swim, especially the floater. Only problem is "helicoptering" on the cast when you want to really throw it out there. I have seen Randall post that the Revolution shad actually swims and casts better than the SPRO. The Tru Tungsten is small. Really small. It also basically reminds me of a jointed Rattle Trap. Some of the bigger stuff I referred to is the Castaic Shad and Triton Mike's Bull Shad. Quote

Super User KYntucky Warmouth Posted June 3, 2009 Super User Posted June 3, 2009 I personally don't care for the revolution shad. the one I have is a fast fall and tends to swim on it's side when reeled faster than a small crawl. I like the magic swimmers, and the tru-tungsten Quote
