NC,

If you can think of a jig as a hook with a weighted head designed to hold many different artificial baits or trailers, you will see that all of the lures in both pictures are types of jigs. Most of the time when you read posts/articles about jig & pork or jig & craw trailers the type of jig in the first picture is most common. The jigs in the second picture are swim jigs. Note that you could pull the small soft plastic minnow off of those jigs and put on a plastic worm or grub and you have a whole different lure. Jigs are very versital and you can rig them and fish them a million ways. Next to a plastic worm They are the best all around baits for bass. JMHO

Agree with you 100%.  Love to fish them.    Bud
