As far as the certain one you stated I have no clue. As for techniques there are a lot of articles on spinner bait fishing on this site. I have read almost all of them and continue to have no luck with spinner baits. Ha good luck my friend.

Not sure about the particular spinnerbait you refer to, but like KVD says, ya gotta make your retrieve erratic as possible. That one tip has landed me a lot of quality bass.

I basically throw a spinnerbait where weeds are too thick for me to effectively use a lipless crank. I also like to run it into tree stumps or whatever else I can see in the water. My personal experience is that 99% of my strikes come after I run the spinnerbait into something, or pull it through something.

I also saw in a KVD video that when he's using a spinnerbait he said he'll give it little twitches here and there to make it seem like there is something wrong with the bait.

The vibra-flex's are ok but I do not think they compare at all to terminator T-1s. If you are going to try Booyahs, get the Bassinators, Tandems,Super Shads, or double willows. Recently I complained about the counter strike but, it isn't that bad cause I was able to catch fish on it. But, if you can find Terminator T-1s buy them!!! They are my favorite spinnerbaits and I've caught alot of fish on them. I use both Booyahs and Terminators but, I have a special place in my heart for Terminators. They out peform alot of the competition out there. You do not need to tune them cause of the titanium wire snaps back in place every time. The only problem that you would have to worry about is maybe the split ring coming off but that has only happened to me once out of the many times I have thrown Terminators.

youll find something new in the spinnerbait world

i use soft wire instead of hard wire

we have videos and stuff

if interested let me know ko-man-chi@videotron.ca

the first 5 picture

i show you how to modify your stainless steel spinnerbaits

i show you how to make a S clip so you can change the blade

if you bend down the top arm you take away the drag so it becomes more stream line (wont tilt from side to side at higher speeds) burn it as much as you want and through weeds or brushes it will help lots

when purchasing these you should buy 2

1st as is and 2nd you modify this way your ready for all conditions

if you always bend the wire it will break after a while

depending on weight of the spinnerbait and size of the blades

that will determine if your spinner bait will stay at the surface or go 15+ feet deep

its good to purchase extra blades of different sizes so you can determine what works best for you

some standard charts exist

i prefer to make my modifications

the more you modify them the more youll have fun

colorado blades slow to medium retrieve

tear drop (wide willow leaf)blades slow, medium or fast retrieve

willow leaf blades medium to fast retrieve

the best of both worlds for me is the tear drop blade

colorado having the most vibration

willow having the least

the tear drop is stuck in the middle

colorado and willow leaf blades are probably the standard in the industry

if ever you try the s clip or the bend let me know if it helped out

all the above is all good

every anglers has his own little recipe!

I love spinner baits I got a lot of t1s a few booyahs and a ton of cheap .99 cent walmart ones in every size and color. I actually like the walmart ones the best because there dirt cheap I can modify them all I want if I mess it up oh well its a buck.

If your having a hard time getting hook ups on spinners throw a Sk bleeding trailer on it. If I'm getting smacked a lot and coming up short I do one of 2 things and always instantly swings odds in my favor. I either throw a grub or split tail spinner trailer on in some funky color opp of the spinner or I throw a extra hook on it. I don't like trailer hooks when fishing around wood however I tend to snag more. Same goes for buzzbaits

I have recently began loving spinnerbaits, 2 years or so ago I couldn't catch a thing on them but now its my go to. By far my favorite spinnerbaits have been the War Eagle double willow in either white or chart/white and anything above 1/2oz but mostly 3/4oz. As for fishing them there really is no way to fish them wrong but you will find certain things that work best at the certain times. Like recently just a steady retrieve has been the most effective, but I noticed in the hot summer over weed beds a fast retrieve over top seems to work best. I never use a trailer hook, just never got around to using them and don't feel the need for it but I know guys who have 2-3 trailer hooks on a spinnerbait. I always have a double tail trailer on it.

One thing I have noticed with spinners is steady no life retrieves equal pike after pike after pike bass seem to like bumps and yo yo ing speeds twitches or just kill it even after u bring it past cover

I have consistent great luck with spinner baits and fish them quite often. I have found something as "erratic" as dropping your rod tip for a split second a couple of times throughout your retrieve will make a willow leaf blade give a substantially different flash and trigger strikes. BTW I mainly use Booyah's and have had great luck with several configurations. All depends on water clarity and sun light conditions.

those people who arent catching fish on spinnerbaits need to purchase a North Star spinnerbait in bluegill color. Thats all I have to say about that.

I have not used the Booyah Vibraflex yet and I want to. I saw them in action and I liked what I saw. It looks like you can mangle them and they stay true.

I lose maybe 1 or 2 spinnerbaits a year, but I have to constantly retune them. Those Vibraflex look awesome and low maintenance.

Give em a try and let us know how you make out! :)

The whole idea behind the Vibra-Flx wire is to create more vibration which according to Jimmy Houston is the key to a successful spinner bait; the hole in the blade is slightly off center which again is to cause more vibration.

If vibration is so paramount to successful spinner baits why not use the spinner bait that has the most water displacement than any other spinner bait on the market!

New Vibra-Wedge by Stanley Jigs ;)

The Vibrashaft wire and Wedge blades are tapered for maximum thump and vibration!

The Booyah and Terminators are both great spinnerbaits. I won't hesitate to tie either one on and know that I will catch fish.

But don't discount the .99 cent ones you can buy at walmart, most of them are made by Strike King and unless I'm fishing a tournement i use alot of them.

Tip: You can buy a dozen cheap spinnerbaits in various colors and blade size and design, then switch blade until you find what you like, then spend your money

on the " good ones" in that configuration.

Always have a pole with a spinnerbait tied on and enjoy

for me its getting the spinnerbait as close as you can to the cover bass are in, almost bumping it then pulling it away from it quickly but thats one of the many ways of fishing spinnerbaits it all depends on the situation

I like the SK KVD spinnerbaits the most. I've also got 7 of doctor spinnerbait's lures on the way too cant wait to try those out! As for using them, erratic action is always necessary. Around shallow cover, I like to wake it.
