I've got a 92 Ranger 372 V, with a Minn Kota Maxxum 55. I was all set to take my wife and 2 boys out on the lake. Before leaving the drive way I did my usual checks, to include the trolling motor, in the driveway the trolling motor ran strong. By the time I got to the lake and launched the boat, the trolling motor would not start. Tried to reset the circuit breaker.....nothing, took off and reattached all my battery connenctions and it did about a quarter of a turn slowy and than nothing. Fiddled around with everything I could think of from there and it wouldn't move.

I'm thinking it may be a blown circuit breaker, so I'm going to take it off and take a look at it. Outside of that, I've got no clue. I appreciate any advice anyone can give me.

Thanks!

It could be a wire in the plugin came loose. I've had that happen on stuff.

I've checked the wiring to the plug and that looks good. Should I take off the pedal and test the voltage?

Thanks guys!

have you checked it with a voltage meter? my fusable like looks great but its blown. work from the farthest spot away from the batteries back to the batteries with the meter. you could run jumper cables to the power head and see what happens.

is it out of gas?? just kidding, had it happen once before and oddly enough went back to working so I never figured it out.

Yea, I ran out of electric gas, ha ha! It would be great if it would just start again! The sooner I get it fixed, the sooner I can sell it and look at upgrading.
