Vinny Chase Posted May 29, 2009 Posted May 29, 2009 I just went to cabelas and bought the rage tail craw and realized i bought the wrong thing (i wanted the chunk). Would this still be a good trailer? does anyone else use this one? Thanks Quote
Super User 5bass Posted May 29, 2009 Super User Posted May 29, 2009 You can't go wrong with either one of those as a trailer. I have great results with both the chunk and the craw. Quote
Big-O Posted May 29, 2009 Posted May 29, 2009 You can just pinch the Rage Craw down to your desired length for a jig trailer or you can Tx rig, cast, flip and Carolina rig it as well. Hope you enjoy'em Big O www.ragetail.com Quote

The craw and a 7" trick worm can accomplish the same thing with a few modifications. Quote
Super User Catt Posted May 29, 2009 Super User Posted May 29, 2009 I have the chunk, craw, & lobster for when I want to adjust rate of fall Quote
Super User Sam Posted May 29, 2009 Super User Posted May 29, 2009 Vinny, Don't be afraid to modify your lures. Cut them; paint them; scent them; and rig them totally unusual, like an off-set wacky rig. You can't go wrong, and who knows, you may find a secret weapon that slays the bass! Quote

I prefer the Craw anyway. On some jigs the chunk can get lost in the skirt. Quote
