I just went to cabelas and bought the rage tail craw and realized i bought the wrong thing (i wanted the chunk). Would this still be a good trailer? does anyone else use this one?

Thanks

You can't go wrong with either one of those as a trailer. I have great results with both the chunk and the craw.

You can just pinch the Rage Craw down to your desired length for a jig trailer or you can Tx rig, cast, flip and Carolina rig it as well.

Hope you enjoy'em

That is why IMO the chunk is a lot like buying 4" finesse worms.  The craw and a 7" trick worm can accomplish the same thing with a few modifications.

I have the chunk, craw, & lobster for when I want to adjust rate of fall ;)

Vinny,

Don't be afraid to modify your lures.

Cut them; paint them; scent them; and rig them totally unusual, like an off-set wacky rig.

You can't go wrong, and who knows, you may find a secret weapon that slays the bass!  ;)

Big-O beat me to it. I prefer the Craw anyway. On some jigs the chunk can get lost in the skirt.
