Ever used one of Matt's baits?

I am not going to criticize you for not paying $70 for a bait, but you might want to see some of his stuff in person.

They are taxidermy quality baits that catch mountable quality fish.

70 bucks doesn 't sound like much taking in consideration that Matt built it with HIS HANDS.

It 's like purchasing a Katana sword built by Masamune himself.

I have a Hattori Hanzo sword I picked up from some blonde chick named Elle I was dating. Good looking but blind and mean as a snake.

Come on guys, don't flame the dude, he's a new board member!  Anyway, I can attest to the detail and craftsmanship to Matt Lures and until see one and use one yourself, pictures are only that, pictures. It may not be worth it to you, but some of us lure junkies will gladly pay that and dare I say more.

You guys are awsome. I understand thats alot to pay for any bait. I realy do. If I could make them with less of my time they would cost less. Trust me I aint getting rich!  ;D As with any handmade non high production product, They will cost a little more. These products are not for evryone but Its nice to have options  ;)

After seeing the sneak peeks of this bait over the last year, I really thought we would be looking at a $80+ bait.  $70 seems like a steal, as did your hardgill at $50.  But once again I have an itch for quality baits.  Not all people are like me  ;)

I have a buddy that i'm fishing with tomorrow who has one of your new baits (He won't tell me how he got it though  :-/).  He told me if I bring beer, I can throw it   ;D

Holy cow. That thing has the pike fisherman in me drooling...talk about an awesome early season ski bait.

X2

Looks good enough to fillet.

$70.00. Ouch.

Smaller version would be dynamite up here. 5"?

Hint Hint.

Man, we don 't pay you to make them in an assembly line, you do that they will immediately loose their charm, we pay exactly for what we have mentioned: you made them with your hands, your commitment to quality, your attention to detail.

It 's like when you purchase a custom built rod.
