CODbasser Posted May 17, 2011 Author Posted May 17, 2011 guess im asking in the wrong place? there isn't much info on it by google search either.. ive heard from a few people in my area that the quality of the fish isn't very good...but some decent smallmouth can be found if you go up enough. anyway..thanks again Quote
backpain... Posted May 19, 2011 Posted May 19, 2011 I live in Philly and have yet to spend much time fishing the Delaware. I know there are some good ones in the tidal part largemouths mainly. The tributaries are also pretty good. Seems like the average catches are fairly small but there are 5-7# fish caught routinely. As far as any pointers.... can't help ya. Quote
tjc76 Posted May 21, 2011 Posted May 21, 2011 From Mid June through October, you can catch multiple limits of smallies on the entire length of non tidal river. Most are average size, with some giants mixed in. Quote

bipr8 Posted May 24, 2011 Posted May 24, 2011 Where are you launching from? I know you wont be able to get to the "good" smallmouth spots (north of Trenton) due to rocks and wingdams. Quote
