Super User Dwight Hottle Posted May 13, 2011 Super User Posted May 13, 2011 I got out today before the t-storms. Caught this beautiful smallie as the thunder started & I had to head back in. I think this fish is the prettiest I have seen this year. Quote

Super User Lund Explorer Posted May 13, 2011 Super User Posted May 13, 2011 Just nothing better looking than a smallie that has come from Great Lakes water. Nice fish Dwight, what did she weigh in at? Quote

Super User senile1 Posted May 14, 2011 Super User Posted May 14, 2011 Dwight, you continue to amaze. You've definitely got a bead on what it takes to haul in those Lake Erie hawgs. Quote
Super User A-Jay Posted May 14, 2011 Super User Posted May 14, 2011 A Six pound plus smallie on Friday The 13Th ~ I'll take that kind of bad luck any day ! Another Trophy fish. She looks like she was hand painted, just beautifully marked. Congrats again Dwight A-Jay Quote
Sfritr Posted May 14, 2011 Posted May 14, 2011 Beautiful color. St. Clair and Erie smallies have the most amazing bronzing color. Miss them..... Nice Job Dwight. Just out of curiosity, how far of a run is it from the mainland to the bass islands? Quote

Just out of curiosity, how far of a run is it from the mainland to the bass islands? I'm fishing out of the central/eastern basin at Erie PA. The bass islands are located in the western basin. Shortest run out there from the south shore would be by ferry trailering your boat. Quote
