1nstinct Posted May 13, 2011 Posted May 13, 2011 Went to a new pond(no joke was only about 2 feet deep) and was sight fishing and saw a bass trying to hunt the little pan fish but wasn't getting any, tossed my jig right near them and he looked at it i moved it a little and he grabbed the claw of the zoom chunk and dropped it, there i put a little megastrike on the chunk be grabbed it again and didn't let go. megastrike going on all my jigs now. 1nstinct Posted May 13, 2011 Author Posted May 13, 2011 yeah i dont either now, i found a nice way to apply megastrike on a jig for the night before grab a small ziplock bag like a 3"by3" and pit a little megatsrike in the bottom and then put the jig in then a little more megastrike on top and mush it around gets a nice coating and doesnt make your hand smell lol 1 Quote

Super User clayton86 Posted May 13, 2011 Super User Posted May 13, 2011 I got sold on the stuff as well last night I was throwing a weightless fluke all night caught 37 bass. Started off using it and hooking up every fish that bit. Then when I had to put a new fluke on I didn't use any mega strike and I started missing or they would just grab the tail and spit it out. Id throw mega strike on and my hook ratio went back to 100% 37 bass coulda been 50 or more if I put it on every fluke I threw instead of being in a rush. Quote
Chaz Hickcox Posted May 13, 2011 Posted May 13, 2011 Try it on EVERYTHING! If they keep swatting at topwater, ie spooks and poppers, put some megastrike on. If they are just nipping crankbaits and barely getting the back hook, put a glob right on the backside of the bill where it meets the bait. Flip a spinnerbait upside down and put a big glob under the skirt where the hook meets the lead. Actually, can someone tell me something megastrike DOES NOT help? Seems like that would be a shorter list. Quote

Everytime it was mentioned on here everybody was just like, "man it's magic" "I don't go fishing without it" "best stuff on earth" and I was thinking BS!!! The conspiracy theorist in me thought since Bobby is an advertiser on here that people were kissing butt trying to get something free. So, I finally tried it. I went to a brush pile and made three casts into it. No bites. Put MegaStrike on and caught a fish the next cast. Hmmmmm that's interesting. That happened over and over, day after day. So now when someone asks me about MegaStrike I say,"Man it's magic. I don't go fishing without it. It's the best stuff on earth" lol Quote
