My brother in law and I to Hunting Run yesterday from 10:30 to 1:30. When we first got there I knew it was going to be tough, the wind was just not cooperative. Couple that with the fact that the reservoir is filled with standing timber and you have a recipe for disaster. I fished my xfactor bob n weave, a 1/4 oz gold booyah three blade spinner and a bama bug yum dinger. I managed a few hits on the bob n weave but no takers, the fish were missing my bait, and nothing on the spinner not even a bump. I did however pull out four on my dinger, with the largest being #2. My brother in law caught a monster sunfish of some sort using a mini red craw colored rat-l-trap, he then managed two bass on a watermelon chigger craw rigged texas style, both dinks. He did however hook a giant that he battled with for quite a while before the fish broke the water and spit out his lure. The water was extremely clear (more clear than usual) about 7 ft visibility, and the bass are in post spawn patterns now. We pulled all of our fish out of 9-12 ft of water. Sorry for no pics, the batteries in my camera died and I had no clue .

I hadn't been keeping up with the lake opening schedule and didn't know it was opened on Thursdays and Fridays yet. I've just been fishing on weekend days.

I've caught over 100 bass on each of the past three days I've been there this year.
