Super User Jigfishn10 Posted June 9, 2011 Super User Posted June 9, 2011 Thank you! I was fishing the edge of the pads from the West/North shore. Songa, Houghtons Pond is shore fishing only. Ok, great. I'm assuming right at the point? Nice oinker for sure. Quote
Super User Jigfishn10 Posted June 14, 2011 Super User Posted June 14, 2011 I haven't been able to get out much lately, anyone having any luck? The recent colder temps and rain can't be helping right now. I'm hoping to get a couple of hours in tomorrow after work. I'll let you know how I do. Quote
ukbumpkin Posted June 15, 2011 Posted June 15, 2011 I have not been out this week, which is killing me as I have a brand new Cumara to get wet. I hope to be on water tomorrow at some point, either real early or end of the day. Quote
tate Posted June 15, 2011 Posted June 15, 2011 Nice ..... the Cumara sure looks and feels like a sweeeeet rod! I've been eying them for a while but then the price tag comes into view. Let us know how you like it. - brian Quote
Super User Jigfishn10 Posted June 15, 2011 Super User Posted June 15, 2011 Managed to get out for 2.5 hours today. Got 4 on a t-rigged tube, all in weeds. Set the hook, reeled in the pigs only to find out I had 3 lbs of weeds and 1.5 lbs of fish... Nice to get out tho. Quote
ukbumpkin Posted June 16, 2011 Posted June 16, 2011 Jigfishn, haha I know the feeling and it's a good one for a while. Until you realize the weeds are a big contributor. Brian, it is my second Cumara and I can't say enough good about them. I've never had such a sensitive rod and I own St Croix also. If you look around you can get them a little cheaper than most places advertised price, but they're never cheap. Hope to be on the water late tomorrow with Cumara in hand! Quote
