BILLYsobx Posted May 12, 2011 Posted May 12, 2011 Any suggestions on good cleaning products to touch up my cranks Quote
BobP Posted May 12, 2011 Posted May 12, 2011 I wouldn't use any kind of solvent on them, just dish soap and water. If they have rust stains, you can sometimes remove it with a Magic Eraser sponge. Ask your wife what that is, if you don't know. Quote
BILLYsobx Posted May 13, 2011 Author Posted May 13, 2011 That's what I was thinking. Looking at some of my shad raps like the sr 8's and 9's that cost $8 a pop I don't want to replace unless they are 8 ft under water Quote
Global Moderator Bluebasser86 Posted May 13, 2011 Global Moderator Posted May 13, 2011 You might try soaking them in water for a few minutes first to help loosen up whatever is stuck to them. Quote
Super User bilgerat Posted May 14, 2011 Super User Posted May 14, 2011 Other than gunk that can be picked off, leave 'em alone. Often "beat up" looking hardbaits produce better than the pretty ones. Quote
