Any suggestions on good cleaning products to touch up my cranks

I wouldn't use any kind of solvent on them, just dish soap and water. If they have rust stains, you can sometimes remove it with a Magic Eraser sponge. Ask your wife what that is, if you don't know.

That's what I was thinking. Looking at some of my shad raps like the sr 8's and 9's that cost $8 a pop I don't want to replace unless they are 8 ft under water

You might try soaking them in water for a few minutes first to help loosen up whatever is stuck to them.

Other than gunk that can be picked off, leave 'em alone. Often "beat up" looking hardbaits produce better than the pretty ones.
