its a club tournament. but its small(5 boats maybe) from south florida. Mainly a fun weekend for a group of us.

i was in a 2 day 100 boat tournament last week and the top boats were all doing very different things: cuts, flipping grass, offshore hydrilla in toho, and on... i caught 15lbs and 19lbs and finished 14th fishing in cypress, but i didnt catch a limit either day. the bass are definitely staging out, and there is lots to catch their interest on the way there.

I was out on Friday for a couple of hours before the storm. 25 mph winds but managed a few bites just inside of the outside lines. I would fish on warmer's advise (as long as he is not in the boat with you). Fish the cuts in the morning and settle in to flippin the outside lines. The north side of Philadelphia, Big grassy, east side of Brahma, all seem to have a lot of boats on them this time of year.

One thing I did notice is that there are tons of bait everywhere. It seems the drawdown has been a good thing. Skinny dipper or swim jig would be my search bait of choice.

We were out of Camp Mack yesterday afternoon (May 10) and had Lake Kissimmee to ourselves.

As mentioned by Warmer and FishinDaddy, we too found the most action

along the outer weed-lines and in the pockets and trail mouths along the deep edge.

We mostly used Power Worms & Lobsters in 5 to 6-ft of water.

well i fished this weekend. had 9lbs on saturday and 4 on sunday. almost seemed like the fish just werent chasing anything. Everyone in my club did about the same. one boat had 16lbs from flipping on sunday. but just like everyone said, all fish came off outside edge for most people. i personally caught first day fish in the river deep. but thank you everyone for the reports. :)
