Gotta-go-Fishin Posted May 9, 2011 Posted May 9, 2011 I recently purchased a BPS pro qualifier limited(the purple/blue, irridescent color) reel. It is in like new condition. It will cast a mile, but I have the drag as tight as it will go and it still pulls of pretty easily, and I set the hook on a 2lb bass this weekend and the drag slipped on the hookset and during the entire fight. Does anyone have any ideas as to what might be the problem? I have read that these are incredible reels, and I would agree if it weren't for this issue. Quote
