TourPT Posted May 8, 2011 Posted May 8, 2011 Hoping someone can help me find a place that still carry's Bagley Bang-O-Lure Tail Spin Lures. If anyone knows it would be much appreciated. Thank You Quote
TourPT Posted May 9, 2011 Author Posted May 9, 2011 I would try Ebay. Few on there now. ...Bill Yeah I saw those. Was hoping to find some in the same size and color as the picture. Did Bagley go out of biz or something? Quote
Avalonjohn44 Posted May 9, 2011 Posted May 9, 2011 As far as I know, Ebay is your best bet. The Gander Mt near me used to sell bagleys, but hasn't for about a year now. Bagley is a strange company - I don't know how they stick around, I can never find their baits in a store and they do not have a way to order online either. Good luck finding any. Quote
TourPT Posted May 17, 2011 Author Posted May 17, 2011 Bagley is a strange company - I don't know how they stick around, I can never find their baits in a store and they do not have a way to order online either. Good luck finding any. I am not sure they are even around anymore. I have even talked to a couple of pro friends of mine that use Bagley Products and they have no clue whats going on at Bagleys or even if they exist anymore. Last known rumor, keyword being rumor, is that Rapala made them an offer to buy them out. Whether true or not, I have no clue. Quote
river-rat Posted May 17, 2011 Posted May 17, 2011 You might try emailing Bagley Baits (sales@bagleybait.com) and asking if they know of an online retailer selling this item. I've done this with a couple of other tackle companies and was able to get the item I as looking for. Quote
Avalonjohn44 Posted May 17, 2011 Posted May 17, 2011 Good idea. I was talking to a bagley rep a year or so ago about placing a large order of a specific color. They existed up until a year ago at least. Their website is still working too: http://www.bagleybait.com/ http://www.bagleybait.com/dealer.html Quote
Tim Morris Posted May 18, 2011 Posted May 18, 2011 I tried to find a Bagley's lure a couple of weeks ago. Ended up in the "vintage" lure section of Ebay. Guess that puts things in perspective for me. Quote
TourPT Posted May 18, 2011 Author Posted May 18, 2011 Yeah, I tried the e-mail route with no reply. Also called them and it appears the number is disconnected. Also tried to contact a manufacturers rep of whom I have dealt with in the past and his number is also disconnected. Guess it be time to try to figure out how to make a modification to an Original Floating Rapala or something. GRRR! Quote
midnighthrasher Posted May 18, 2011 Posted May 18, 2011 Buy whatever color you can find and have them custom painted. Quote
