Favorite is Venom tubes (impreginated with Megastrike) Second would have to be BPS flippin and double dipped. Tubes are my favorite bait by far and I've tryed about all of them. These are my goto baits.

For flippin: El Grande, or any of the Strike King varieties that have a solid head.

For open hook / inserted head: 2.5" and 4" Mizmos, 3.5" Right Bites

Cover tube - *** 4" ***. Just about indentical to Yum's Vibra King, which I think has just been discontinued. Great price and the quality is top notch. He also carries a 4" craw tube, which is basically the same thing with pincers attached.

Ghoti. just turned me on to Poor Boys tubes. Check them out on TW, they have some amazing colors. Haven't had a chance to fish them yet but I have no doubts about them.

Last is the overlooked Strike King Bitsy tube. 2 3/4" long, it rocks when they want something a bit smaller. It also floats, rig one weightless on a fine wire hook and throw it top water. Better hold on to your rod... ;) It can also be floated underwater on a split shot rig.

I will properly dispose of them right into my arsenal.

Honestly if you find any of these in the Pittsburgh area, I have been slipping.

I empty pegs when I find them!

Alot of the tackle shops around here have bulk bags of tubes. Usually 50 pieces per bag. And I pay $15 a bag. They are the same as the BPS flippin tubes.

Not around here. Tubes are probably one of the least used baits in my area. And I like it that way... ;)

Yum Vibra King

BPS tubes that had a head shaped like a minnow and eyes. Still have several 50 packs.

Tiki Tubes. Similar to Vibra King but ribs aren't as pronounced.

Its funny though. The shops get an early spring shipment in of all the colors they need to fill their racks. Usually within the week all the good colors are gone. So unless you know the owner, good luck chuck.

A tube is def my goto bait.

I bought a lot of tubes that were a color mismatch because they were the perfect color. I'm almost through them now and going to be sad they're gone. The only other tube I fish with any consistency is the LFT Craw Tube.

BPS double dipped

Don't know where your form in West Virginia. But the Cabin Creek tubes are killer in the lakes down south. Like Summersville and Tygart. Your going to have to bribe someone to get the right colors though. There lizards are real good too. The BPS Tender tubes are great on all the Rivers. From the Ohio to the Kanawha

Right now I'm using BPS flippin tubes. I also have some Chompers and SK. Once they are gone I'll switch it up to something else.

Tubes are an absolute "must have" for Smallies here on the upper Mississippi River. I have some from just about any source you can think of and they all work at one time or another...color is usually the deciding factor more than any other characteristic with length being a distant second. Regardless of who made them, they all get a bath in JJ's before going to the river. The only tube I do not like at all is the Tiki tube from Wave...never caught one single fish on them for some reason.

I don't favor one brand over another. A tube is a tube. I tend to buy the colors I want rather than the brand. I also go for the size I want rather than brand.

Biklgerat mentioned Poor Boy's tubes. They have some great clear water colors. The price is right too. Less than 7 bucks for a 20 pack.

This season, I've caught more fish on a frog color Poor Boy's tube than all other baits combined. But, it's been a weird year, so far.

I hadn't really fished tubes very much, until yesterday, caught around 20 LM on one of the local lakes on Zoom and GYCB tubes, watermelon seed and black/blue. I'll look into some of the brands you guys mentioned in this thread, I think I like tubes now. :)
