Yesterday I went fishing with a guy in the fishing club on our lake and needless to say he has way more talent than me when it comes to fishing. He had caught 5 keepers and 2 dinks before i landed my pig. I started fishing for bass and fishing the local bass tournament last year and my biggest weighed in till yesterday was a 3lb 8ounce smally wich is a pretty good smally for my lake considering its recreational and only 350 acres. I have pretty much grown up on this lake since 92 except for a 3 year absence to it. Yesterday i finally got to feel what is my biggest to date and that is a 5lb 13ounce largemouth 20.5" lengthe 15 1/8 girth. Let me tell you I was pretty stoked for the remainder of the time we spent on the lake that day. Well hopefully i can land one of those bigguns in the tournament coming up in another week just thought i would share one of my proud bass fishing moments with anyone that would like to read this and all that are on BR.

P.S. Ive been catching all my fish primarily on the xr50 xr75 xcalibur lipless cranks!

Hey BassAssasin, that's a great looking fish ! Congrats on the new PB :)

BTW, I don't think I've ever caught a bass that big on a crankbait. 4 1/2 tops.

Stay on em' !

Man! I'm in the opposite boat. All of my big fish seem to come on cranks!
