Got my new NRX852s yesterday and was blown away with how light the rod is. Tried it out at a local pond today and nabbed a PB LMB (6#+)as the second fish of the day and after about 15 min. of fishing. Was it cause of the ROD. Probably not, unless it's impregnated with a bit of luck. The rod is noticeably lighter than my GLX852. I really can't tell right now if it is any more sensitive, but then again I haven't fished that much with it. Great fun to fish with and after a few more fishing trips I can give a more informed report. :)

I think the 852 is one of the best rods in the series. It's a superb plastics rod, as well as 3/16 and 1/4 oz jigs. I don't yet own that one, but have been fishing one of my partner's lately. I'm really impressed with that rod. I am sure that I'll end up adding it, I wish I would have added that rod instead of the 873.
