I've never seen any bills that are bent like those that you can buy. I've made some cranks similar to the RCs and bending the bill isn't necessary. Just adjust the angle of the slit you cut to put the bill in to match the angle of the KVD.

I do believe you will have to use flat bills and change the angle slightly. Big M and a few others will be the ones that know for sure.

Kb, You will have to bend lexan bills to match the exact style of lip in the KVD baits. I cut the lip slot at 38 degrees for that style of bait and it works just fine. Install the line tie right on top of the lip and the bait will have a really nice wobble.

Glad to see you are making baits again. Send my your address in a PM and I will send 1 of my baits to try.

I haven't tried this myself, but dip in hot cooking oil to get the bend temperature. You will need to make some kind of bending block, to control the bend. Best if this is the same tool you use to dip with, like a modified metal spring clamp.

Just a suggestion, I've only been making lures for a few days but have you looked at using spoons for lips? I made one the other day with one.. Have yet to try it though.
