Super User clayton86 Posted May 3, 2011 Super User Posted May 3, 2011 It only took 2 fishbut I'm hooked on on rage tail products. Caught a pike saterday on a c rigged 10in anaconda then today a 4lb smallie on a baby rage craw in watermelon red flake on a strike king football head jig. I rigged the craw weedless and just worked it in the river twitching and hopping it across bottom like a scurring crawfish. This thing looked so real I thought it was a real craw in the rocks not paying attention that I had worked the bait that close to me. After that I was hook I'm stocking up on rage craws next chance I get. What other rage products are good I mostly fish shallow rivers or weed and lily choked dams Quote
collegefishing12 Posted May 3, 2011 Posted May 3, 2011 For topwater: Rage frog (lots of water displacement) or Eeliminator (less water displacement) Quote
Brad70 Posted May 3, 2011 Posted May 3, 2011 I love the space monkey myself either on the top of the water weightless or a lil' weight on it steady retrieve under the surface has even produced! Great products. Quote
Big-O Posted May 3, 2011 Posted May 3, 2011 Glad you like'em but I'll stay out of the "What other RAGETAIL products I think are good" area because I might be prejudiced just a bit Here's info on Hook n'Looks latest show airing this week on Lake Champlain fishing the Baby Rage Craw... Hope you like it! Tuesday, May 3rd @ 1:30pm on the Versus Channel then again Saturday, May 7th @ 8am Here's a YouTube Teaser Big O www.ragetail.com Quote
Super User Hammer 4 Posted May 3, 2011 Super User Posted May 3, 2011 While I like all the ragetail baits, I'll say this, their lizards Rock.. Quote
Super User clayton86 Posted May 3, 2011 Author Super User Posted May 3, 2011 Got this one on the craw and shakey head last night Quote
Super User Hooligan Posted May 3, 2011 Super User Posted May 3, 2011 Rage baby craw was my "One hit wonder" this weekend. Fished a really otugh lake with an even tougher pattern of post cold front with 4 inches of snow less than a week prior, with the fish still in late winter transition or moving to spring pattern. Really, really tough. One boat caught one fish and won it. I missed a solid slap on a Baby Craw, that cost us $875. Quote
bassking1976 Posted May 3, 2011 Posted May 3, 2011 clayton try the smokin rooster weightless over hose lily pads....gander has some rage 40% off its picked thru but i saw a few rage craws n chunks and some rage shads all mostly in summer craw color now thats a question are the rage shads worth buying? Punkinseedfyretailz Posted May 3, 2011 Posted May 3, 2011 if its rage its good no one best thing. Quote
Fat-G Posted May 4, 2011 Posted May 4, 2011 I like the Craw and Smokin' Rooster on the back of swim jigs. I will warn you however that the Rooster is really a BIG fish bait when swimming on a jig. Other than that, every bait is special. I couldn't have just one Rage product, they are all outstanding. Quote
Super User clayton86 Posted May 4, 2011 Author Super User Posted May 4, 2011 the only issue I'm having is its getting ripped up pretty bad from burrying the hook to go weedless Quote
Super User BrianinMD Posted May 4, 2011 Super User Posted May 4, 2011 Love the baby craws, used them last saturday to get 3rd in a tourney. After all the rain the flood gates were open so main lake was out of the question. Almost everything was muddy too, except one creek a couple boats found (not mine). Got my 5 fish limit for 10lbs 9oz on a t-rigged baby craw or a sliderhead with baby craw. Quote
SausageFingers Posted May 4, 2011 Posted May 4, 2011 The Rage products are fantastic. The Space Monkey got me hooked and now it's the craw. Quote
