Hey guys,

New here, and I have a Question. What would be a good rod for worm fishing, jigging, and crankbaits. I mostly use worms though. I would like the rod to be under $125, and is spin cast. Thanks.

Welcome to the forum. I think you're referring to a spinning rod and not a push-button spin-cast. In that event, look for something marked Med or Med Hvy/Fast with a lure weight range of 1/4-3/4 give or take. This is a better worm/jig setup than crankbait, but should work ok.

Is there a certain Brand, or model, of rod that you could recomend?

Thanks

Try Hurricane rods. They carry them at Dick's or Sports Authority. About 60 or so bucks, great rod for the price!

I might pick up a St. Croix Triumph, in MH 7'. Opinions?

Thanks Once Again

Yea I actually have that same rod paired with a BPS tournament series baitcaster. I love it, I use it for cranking!

Alright I'll have to order it then. Here in Canada At cabela's it is just over $105 for shipping right to my house. Still a good deal? I apologize if these are noobish questions, But i guess you could say that I am a Noob.
