If anybody saw the tournament in Florida that Shaw won you saw that he was using a craw bait with some form of red plastic piece just above the craw...what was that? any info would be appreciated.

It was a white Rage Craw tipped with a small (Prototype) red plastic cap that slipped over the end and eye of the hook (which is the tail of the Craw). He said the red made the fish a little madder. If I can find a photo, I'll post it here for you!

Here's a quote from his story on Wired to fish...

“I just mixed it up, and it didn’t matter what color. I did a lot of black-blue, Okeechobee craw, white — white Rage Craw was really big for me. I just kept pitching and going, and stopping, locking down on one and working it, hopefully catching it and going on.

Dip approximately 3/8" of the end in Red JJ's if you need to... adds scent as well ;)

I just saw shaw at a seminar last month and I got a pretty good look at it I'm about 90% sure it was a winged wire nut like an electrician would use
