laus Posted May 1, 2011 Posted May 1, 2011 Anybody ever use em for scent? I used it yesterday to lube knots and had great day! Don't know if it made a difference though. Quote
Super User RoLo Posted May 3, 2011 Super User Posted May 3, 2011 I've honestly never heard of Fish Oil Capsules used in any angling application, but those high in Omega-3s (EPA & DHA) can be beneficial to **** sapiens. Roger Quote

dulouz Posted May 3, 2011 Posted May 3, 2011 I was told I would benefit from taking some fish oil pills. I tried, but when I opened that bottle and got a wiff of that stuff I just couldn't do it. Quote

SmokeRise1 Posted May 3, 2011 Posted May 3, 2011 I had this same idea a few years ago while catfishing one night. I added one of the soft capsules when baiting up chicken livers and shrimp. It didn't do anything to increase my hookups, but that might have been due to the weather or other conditions that night. I plan to try it again this year and will setup a control group to see if the baits with fish oil do any better. Quote

Doc had me take em for cholesterol. These things were expensive. But if they show that they will benefit in catching fish,im all for it. I took em for a month and they didnt even touch my cholesterol. Now im on Niacin. Quote
SmokeRise1 Posted May 3, 2011 Posted May 3, 2011 "Now im on Niacin?" I know for a fact that Niacin is not a good fish attractant Quote
