What a game that was. I will admit, the Flyers deserved to win that game, but Thomas stood on his head and stole that one for the B's. That was playoff hochey at its best. As Bilge would say "a real barn burner".

Thomas= Vezina Boucher= locker room for a sore hand.

The Bruins look poised to finish off the Flyers and take the series in 4.

I hope they do it. I need them to keep playing so I have something to watch also, with over 100 games left for the redsox I don't really feel like watching yet.

Flyers are stinking! At least my phills have been playing good ball. We need another Bernie Parent I can hear the flyers fans chanting now Bernie and the nets.... Lol

It would be nice to see the B's finish the series tonight...Should be a great game tho. The Flyers will be a tough team to beat tonight with their backs against the wall. They have too much history and tradition to mail it in.

Rumour has it that if Bobvrosky starts to get smoked early on, they're gonna pick a random fan to try out in goal....

Actually, Bouch is like about 80% of NHL goalies. Streaky, not bad overall but prone to bad runs. He's not the worst by far, certainly not the best. He just highlights the fact that true Hall of Fame caliber goalies are few and far between.

Only Flyer fans likely remeber this, but Bobvrosky was the talk of the NHL back in October when he was on fire. The fire since died out. He's young and has a lot to learn but the potential is there. We'll see in a few years.

Your right, most goalies are super streaky, but Boucher is actually probably a backup, and would fit that bill nicely, but he's your number one and thats killing you, along with Pronger being out. I think last offseason the Philly brass probably put too much stock in their defense, hoping it could or would protect the goalie. That being said, this series is not over, goalies are streaky, and yours could go on a hot streak, and ours could go cold.

One thing they did early this season was discourage Carcillo from enforcing and wanted him to work more on his forward posistion. Sometimes I swear he has clown shoes on instead of skates. Let him enforce. If he were back shoring up the defense, especially with Pronger out, it may help our situation. He's a better goon than forward, we have enough offensive weapons.

It broke my heart to watch them get beotch slapped like that the other night  That aint Flyer hockey. Like the late, great Fred Shero said, "If you don't want to see blood on the ice, go watch the Ice Capades"

How bad can Boucher really be? The Flyers lost the top seed in the playoffs with like a week or two left in the regular season. You don't get there without a decent goalie, but he's just not exactly on top of his game right now. Heck, look what happened to Rask last year? Besides, not having Pronger in this series makes a huge difference. That's like the B's playing without Chara.

Ahh well...Props to the Bruins. They were clearly the better team throughout the series. You guys have a hell of a goalie in Thomas. Best of luck, we'll be back next year.

I have already. For some reason it takes a while. If I go into my control panel it shows the new one. Maybe it takes time for the auto resizer to set it up. It's been that way for all of my avatars in the new forum.

8 wins away...

Never gonna happen!!! Boston is not a contendor. Too bad because they are my 29th favorite team in the NHL.

A Flyers fan graciously accepts defeat and wishes you luck.

A Habs fan is 1 series removed and still needs one of these:
