if your only concern was just putting fishing in the boat, say around 12", what would your top 3 lures choices be? just for sake of the topic we will say water temperatures between 55-65 and offcolored but not muddy.

here are mine:

1. 4" senko

2. fat albert grub

3. shakey head worm on a 1/8 oz head

I'd definitely have some horizontal lures with me. If the fish happen to be active, you'll catch a lot more than with slower-moving soft plastics.

A drop shotted Zoom tiny fluke. You'll catch plenty of big fish on it too, especialy brown ones.
